Starting in March 2026, we are beginning our pilot after school program at Abernethy Elementary School, “Food Science Fun.”
Food Science Fun is an afterschool program that engages elementary students in hands-on science education through the lens of nutrition, food, and lab experiences.
Our program is centered on teaching kids a love of science through an exporation of some of their favorite foods. Each session will include physical movement, a science lesson and hands-on lab, and a snack. Kids will have a chance to play and learn.
